Hub - Site Builder

Site Builder is a product built on top of the Hub that allows people to quickly build out sites using a set of pre-built components. The team saw the need arise as people were building one off internal sites on a number of different platforms and technology (Wordpress, Drupal) with their own custom styles and designs which created expense, complexity and a jarring end user experience.

By consolidating under one platform and providing a consistent, brand aligned, visual style we could easily use it to build subsequent sites. Since launch over 200 sites have been created on the platform and hundreds of users are building and updating content day-to-day.

The admin console allows users to create and manage their pages, navigation and additional features.

The editing experience allows for drag and drop components, in-line WYSIWYG editing with formatting controls.

Pre-built components provide flexibility of layout and design while keeping a consitent look and feel across the platform.

Which, all in, allows end users to create a variety of different style sites and experiences for end users, as well as update and manage their content without prior technical knowledge or help from a central team.
